Mission Statement

The mission of the Winchester Hemp Harvest Fest is to help establish Winchester, KY as the epicenter of the modern hemp industry renaissance. This fest brings together hemp industry leaders and innovators, researchers, educators and entrepreneurs in a celebration of the collaborative effort it has taken to see the rebirth of this once critical agricultural commodity. The Winchester Hemp Harvest Fest celebrates incalculable contributions to the economic and cultural development of Kentucky from the days of its earliest settlers until its modern rebirth as the crop that may finally replace tobacco as the fuel that drives Kentucky's agricultural engine. It is imminent that this industry is growing exponentially, with Clark County leading the way. For this reason, we are ecstatic to invite you and your family to the Winchester Hemp Harvest Fest to celebrate the fruits of Kentuckians’ labor in the hemp industry for a day of education, fun, and food.

The Winchester Hemp Harvest Fest planning committee invites you to join us in the cradle of the Bluegrass Saturday October 5, as we celebrate the 5th year of the hemp industry’s rebirth at a family friendly event featuring panel discussions, presentations, contests, farm tours and a street fair filled with vendors, music and fun.

The Winchester Hemp Harvest Fest is presented by our sponsor Mt. Folly Farm. The event is organized by the Harvest Fest Coordinating Committee; Hemp Highway of Kentucky, Bluegrass Heritage Museum, Winchester Clark County Tourism Commission, Wildcat Willy’s Distillery, and Downtown Winchester.
